The National Health Insurance Authority NHIA has unveiled its self-service electronic portal. The initiative was one of the highpoints of the recently concluded 4-day National Health Financing Dialogue held in Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja. With the electronic platform all transactions including enrollment, addition of dependents, change of health care provider and indeed others can now be conducted with ease and comfort. Enrollees and prospective beneficiaries now have the OPTION of visiting NHIA offices for these transactions or they can use their phones and other electronic gadgets by logging into the NHIA website This is part of the Authority’s efforts to improve service delivery while expanding health insurance services to Nigerians. The NHIA offices will remain open for enquiries and relevant assistance as may be required.
